We will once again see Chris Noth play Carrie Bradshaw’s undying lover in ‘Sex and the City’: Mr. Big, back in action (although he never really left it).
And so, after in February it had been found that Mr. Big, Carrie Bradshaw’s “toxic love,” would not return to “Sex and the City”, this Wednesday the pleasant news came out that the situation will be reversed and the character will appear in the reboot.
How could it be considered to make a story over Sex and the city without Mr. Big?
Through a statement from HBO Max —and via CNN— it became known that Chris Noth will return to his role as Mr. Big for the reboot from the iconic series, called And Just Like That.
«I am delighted to be working with Chris again on Just Like That … How could we have made a new chapter of Sex and the city without Mr. Big ?, said the executive producer Michael Patrick King.
The adventure continues
The character of Noth is the longtime lover of Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker). In the films followed by the series – there were two, in 2008 and 2010 – Carrie and Big get married and continue their lives in New York.
For these new series, we will see Carrie, Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) Y Charlotte (Kristin davis) —That’s right, without the oldest of the bunch and our spoiled PR, Samantha Jones (Kim Cattrall).
The production, which will begin in summer in the Big Apple, will consist of 10 episodes of half an hour. Ready to marathon?
