Over the last few years we have seen how Movistar migrated quite a few of its SD resolution channels to HD resolution to the joy of your customers. Unfortunately, the same has not happened with Movistar’s 4K channels, an offer that has been stagnant for a long time and that is limited to football or Formula 1 if we talk about linear channels (in addition to some specific content in UHD that is offered under demand).
El Toro TV HD and La 7 CyL TV HD
As we have learned, the pay television operator has been testing two new HD channels for a few days. The first will follow a trend that we have seen in recent months of migrating regional channels to their high definition version. The last to benefit from this improvement had been IB3 HD and now it will be the turn of La 7 Castilla y León HD TV. This channel can be seen on dial 9, but only by people residing in those locations.
The second of the changes that we have in view is the migration to its high definition version of the channel El Toro TV HD. It broadcasts on dial 124 and we will soon have its HD version available to all customers. As always, we are facing changes and improvements that only affect IPTV clients, that is, those who have Movistar + with television over the Internet.
The satellite clients They continue on their particular “journey through the desert” with little or no weight news. In fact, many channels that broadcast in HD on IPTV, in satellite we only have their SD versions. Fortunately, a few days ago we learned that Movistar + in devices, the substitute for Yomvi, incorporated new channels for satellite customers.
In this case, they can watch A3Series, Sundance TV, Dark, Bom Cine, Horse TV, Nautical Channel, U-Beat and El Toro TV, eight channels that customers who accessed the application could already see with Internet television.
