Beyond Motorola, Samsung and Huawei, there is no other option on the market to enjoy a phone with the flexible screen. Xiaomi and OPPO have advanced their own bets in this market from time to time but, as of today, we do not have a folding mobile of no other brand.
A couple of weeks ago we already discovered that Samsung was in charge of manufacturing new flexible panels for other brands, with the two Chinese manufacturers being the main beneficiaries of this association. What mobiles will accompany the Motorola Razr, Galaxy Gold, Galaxy Z Flip and Huawei Mate X in the next few months?
It seems that the next model in the output box is the OPPO Find X, as the folding mobile that the firm should present soon would be known.
More features of the foldable OPPO Find
According to the new information collected by EqualLeaks, The phone will hit stores with the best processor manufactured by Qualcomm this 2021, that is, the Snapdragon 888. This also means that it is likely, more than certain, that the phone will be officially launched in the coming weeks and that we will not have to wait for him until next year since, if necessary, I would mount a higher processor.
Other leaks detail that the smartphone will be very similar to the Huawei Mate X2, boasting a larger flexible internal screen and a secondary panel that we could use when the phone was folded. But the most important of these screen specifications is that we would be talking about panels with 120 Hz refresh rate and LTPO technology.
As you may already know by now, Apple is another manufacturer that wants to work with this screen technology for its iPhone 13, after being used in the Apple Watch Series 4. The purpose of these panels is to minimize the impact energy of the same and change the refresh rate dynamically, enhancing functions such as the Always ON. In this way, consumption is reduced depending on what is being shown on the screen when playing the content at minimum refresh rates.
The last information that the filtration leaves us is regarding the name, since instead of OPPO Find X could be called OPPO Find Fold, something that does not convince us too much. We hope that the brand will introduce this phone before next summer comes to an end.
