Traffic agents have hunted a vehicle at more than 253 km / h on a highway in Murcia, a case they want to eradicate from our roads.
Thanks to the devices of the Civil Guard agents on our roads and the availability of fixed and mobile radars of the DGT, road safety has greater guarantees, so that everyone can reach their destination completely safely.
Although it is quite common for traffic fines to occur for slightly exceeding the speed limit, sometimes these limits are exceeded even by more than double, as just happened on a highway in Murcia, in a case that the DGT wanted to highlight on its Twitter account to raise awareness among the population.
Specifically, the driver of a high-end vehicle was surprised by a DGT radar when I was traveling at 253 km / h on a highway in Murcia. The curious thing about the matter is that the driver of the offending vehicle, as soon as he saw the radar flash, wanted to return to that kilometer point to make sure that a radar had really caught him.
It passes a radar point 📡 at 253 km / h! And returns to verify the existence of the radar. The #AT @Civil Guard #Murcia stopped him and identified then, in the # A30 Alamo Fountain. Exceeding the limit on interurban roads by 80 km / h is #crime against road safety. pic.twitter.com/fCyabL1UbS

In general, in the face of this type of serious infraction, the driver will lose points on the license and will also receive a large financial fine. In this case, it is also considered a dangerous vehicle due to its excessive speed and could be pursued for interception.
According to the Civil Guard, the driver is a 20-year-old resident of Cartagena, of Spanish nationality, that he was driving his high-displacement sports car.
They are this type of case, those that the DGT wants to completely eradicate from our roads, because these types of vehicles not only violate the traffic regulations, but also endanger the rest of the drivers, and can cause fatal traffic accidents.
