The Opel Manta was a standout car in the 1970s. It was about a sports very interesting, rear-wheel drive, two-door, derived from the Opel Ascona. It was created to compete with the Ford Capri, another of the outstanding sports cars of the time, and was on sale from 1970 to 1988, when it was replaced by the Opel Calibra. It was on a mission to succeed the Opel GT, perhaps one of the brand’s most beautiful cars.

The first generation of the Opel Manta was equipped with a 1.9-liter 105 hp engine, a mechanism that we will not find in this concept. Instead of an internal combustion engine, an electric powertrain is opted for qwhat offers 147 hp power and a maximum torque of 255 Nm. Mount the engine on the rear axle, being a rear-wheel drive car with four-speed manual gearbox, a manual electric! The battery is lithium-ion and has a capacity of 31 kWh. With it, the model should have a range of about 200 kilometers.
This electric restomod has a specific design inspired by the Opel Manta, with wheels of 17 inch in diameter that, as you can imagine, are much larger than those of the original model. And it is that it has tires in dimensions 195/40 R17 on the front axle and 205/40 R17 on the rear axle.
