One of the most promising voices of the Regional Mexican genre and mariachi-pop star, Ingrid contreras, launch your new theme “I’m going to love you.” Composed by Joss Favela, This song is a new way of speaking out for all women and is seen as a new hymn of self-love for both women and men. Released under the seal of ShowBusiness, the theme is now available on all digital music platforms.
On this new topic we asked the singer:
How do you feel having worked with Joss Favela? Happy and grateful, it was the lyrics and the perfect melody, everything was arranged so that the song arrived at the necessary moment. What did you learn from this process?
Ingrid: That when you want something and work for it sooner or later things happen… one of my dreams was to be able to have a Joss favela composition.
What makes your new song “I’m going loving you” special?
Ingrid: The fact of being able to be a voice again but now speaking of self-love, the most difficult love. I feel the responsibility to talk about this issue because with my work I often upload things in which for my followers I look perfect and I always try to talk about the reality of things and how I also fight with my own demons and insecurities and there is no other way more than loving and accepting.
Why is it still so important to you to speak out for women with your music?
Because I know that through music we all heal and the fact of being able to change someone’s life with my music is the most rewarding thing.
What do you do on days when you feel like you’re losing yourself?
I try to identify what is happening and let myself feel that way, let the feeling live and get up stronger the next day and always like that. I am of the idea that there is no eternal happiness, those beautiful moments are built every day, the same in self-love, you have to work it every day and be aware that there will be some days better than others but there is always the opportunity to start again .
