Google Chrome gives us the possibility to take a first look at the design changes that applications will undergo with the arrival of Android 12.
At Google I / O a few weeks ago we learned about the new design that will come with the new version of the operating system for Google mobiles. The aesthetics for which Android 12 is committed will be characterized by the use of colors to emphasize the applications that are being used and, in addition, for having rounded edges in all the menus.
It is a version that will come with many new features and with a design that has excited users, as it is an improvement on the well-known Material Design. The most adventurous people have already been encouraged to try Android 12 on their devices, thanks to the fact that It is now available for both Google Pixel terminals as for any other terminal that supports GSI versions.
If you want to try this version, but don’t dare to install these versions out of fear; you are in luck. Thanks to Google Chrome, you will be able to get used to the idea of the rounded design that will arrive in the fourth quarter of this year to the devices that Google deems relevant. To take a look at this, all you need is to have the browser installed and updated to the latest version.
Once those requirements have been verified, dYou must copy the following text “chrome: // flags / # theme-refactor-android” and paste it without the quotes in the Google Chrome search bar. After pasting it, a menu will open in which an option will be marked in a striking color, this option is called “Theme refractor on Android” and it is the one that interests us.
It will be disabled and you will have to enable it, to do so you have to select “Enable” and a message will appear at the bottom edge of the screen asking us to restart Google Chrome. It will have to be restarted twice, the first accepting the restart offered by that menu and the second forcing the closing of the browser so that this feature is applied correctly.
If we have done this process well, now when opening Google Chrome the edge of the menu will be rounded and its design will be similar to what we will find when Android 12 arrives. This is still a small preview of everything that awaits us with the next version of Android, the safest thing is that over the months we will see many more news.
