Apple has indicated that during 2020 it has rejected almost a million new applications that requested to be in its App Store and has explained the most common reasons that have justified this decision, as stated CNBC.
The apple company has specified that your platform control system and updates allows users to be safe from scamming, malware and bad experiences of use in each of the almost 2 million applications present in your store.
According to statistics provided by Apple, During the previous year the technology rejected almost 1 million applications that were proposed for the first time and around another million updates.
Specifically, 48,000 platforms were not accepted for using “hidden or undocumented functions”, often software tools that Apple uses internally for its own applications.
On the other hand, 150,000 were not admitted because they were spam or a copy of another existing platform and 215,000 because they collected too much data from users or violated their privacy through other tools.
In addition, 95,000 were penalized for fraud, the majority for changing their purpose after the revision made by Apple to become a different type of platform, which includes apps focused on gambling or in pornography.
The apple company has also specified that, during that period, it has eliminated 470,000 accounts from its developer program for fraud.
CNBC It also notes that the company has rejected 3.2 million app installs that use an enterprise certificate in the past month. This form is one of the most used to evade the AppStore with a tool used by large companies to install platforms for internal use on companies’ iPhones.
